Leaving a coral in one spot before moving

I was wondering how long to leave a coral in one spot to see if it is happy before moving it to another spot. Feel like I am not waiting long enough. kind of new to corals and don't want to kill it. Have a Hammer coral that is retracted and has not really opened up after about three days.

Euphyllia (hammer coral) are an LPS.

Even still, they like low to moderate flow. Hard to tell from just a pic but the left side is possibly being hit hard with significant flow. That will pull at the coral which causes it to remain contracted. If this is the case, move it. If not, you can give it a couple of more days or a week to adjust.

Three days is a little too long, is it getting to much flow or light, I would try moving it to see if it does better.

Considering moving mine too, it seems happy but it is at the top 1/3 to maybe middle of my 24” deep tank. I attached a short video. With the flow, every once in a while it seems to get a good
Amount of flow.

I too am having issues with a few softies. No idea why. My leathers just aren’t opening which is weird because they’re nuke proof. Unsure what to do with them. .
