I had to euthanize my last fish today. Yes, Lad the Incredibly Expensive Goby, raised from an egg 8 years ago, is swimming in that big coral reef in the sky. With the last fish gone, I've decide to leave the hobby after 20 years. I've cleaned house before, but it's time to do it again.

Here's the FREE stuff. Pick up will be in Madison. I haven't tested or cleaned any of this stuff except as noted; most has been in storage for a while. Much of this is related to fish breeding or keeping cultures.

  • 4 big PVC pieces good for fish hiding spots in QT
  • 4" fan, new in box
  • 4" fan, well used but still working
  • misc. eggcrate pieces
  • Qty 2 powerheads labelled PH101, details unknown. Probably good for mixing water. One works for sure; I've been using it for just that purpose
  • Korallia magnet holder, no doubt from a Korallia that died
  • Tunze magnet holder 6080.5
  • Black Diamond carbon, about 1 cup
  • Clor-Am-X, about 2 1/2 pounds. Several years old, but I don't think it goes bad.
  • misc reef safe sponges and pieces
  • Pinpoint pH monitor. No probe.
  • Phosguard, about 250 mL
  • Jungle Quick Dip Ammonia strips, most of a bottle
  • clownfish seaweed clip
  • very small fish net
  • Novus plastic polish #1
  • Coralife acrylic polish
  • DAP aquarium sealant
  • 3/8" new vinyl tubing (8'?)
  • misc. heat packs
  • misc pH monitor solutions
  • 2 brine shrimp hatchery bases including *vintage* 2 liter bottles with the bottoms cut off
  • Penn-Plax B10 battery operated air pump. Noisy as heck and not very strong, but it runs on batteries...
  • misc vinyl & silicone air tubing, rigid air tubing and air stones
  • 3 needle-lock drip tube assemblies (for IV tubing, but works for dripping kalk)
  • API high range pH test kit
  • Marineland Rite-Size bonded filter pad, most of a bag
Not free stuff:
  • Korallia 1. $5
  • Finnex LD50G 50w titanium heater with digital controller, unused. $10
  • Tunze 9002 Skimmer. Has pump, but I think it needs a new one, which can be ordered from Tunze USA. This is a small in-tank skimmer similar to the Tunze Nano. $20
  • Tunze in-tank overflow box, the one that comes with the Nano Reef Pack. Needs new pump. $10
  • Won Pro Heat titanium heater, not sure of wattage and it's not on the heater, but I think it's 50w. $5
  • Coralife Luft pump, 7 psi and very quiet. $20
  • 15g acrylic tank. Some scratches, good for QT, refugium or propagation. (Or buff your heart out for a nano.) $10
  • ESV Calcium Hydroxide, almost 1 lb. $5
More to come including Tunze water level controller, a bigger Korallia, a Tunze Turbelle Nano 6015, Pinpoint Dual Stage temp controller, backup battery(ies?) and a 100w titanium heater.

Pending pickup:
Korallia magnet holder
Tunze magnet holder 6080.5
PH101 power head

Removed:
2nd PH101 powerhead tested/didn't work

I might be interested in a few things if I could stop by over the weekend. I am interested in the 15g tank, the finnex heater and possibly the ATO and temp controller if they are available. I would also be interested in any live items if you have any such as cleanup crews. Sorry I am in Madison as well.

You can't have the ATO ($60) and temp controller ($100) until the last of the live stuff is gone; probably at least 2 weeks. I can hold the 15g and Finnex until then if you like. LMK if you want the ATO and temp controller at those prices.

The live stuff is already spoken for.

I'm not sure of the final list yet, as I keep finding more stuff. There will be at least a few more items.

I'm not selling the tank, stand or lights at this time, though.

I would like to pick up the following:

misc. eggcrate pieces
Phosguard
3/8" new vinyl tubing
misc vinyl & silicone air tubing, rigid air tubing

Also, if you have sand that you could let go I would take it off your hands.

PM me with a good day/time.
