Well for the past couple of months I have hardly been active here on R2R and thats primarily from my daughter being born prematurely back on July 21st. She was 2 lbs 4 oz and 15 inches long when she came, and we had many financial problems and other stresses in our life. We were in the middle of a big move and finally finished in the beginning of September. I had to start selling off high end corals in order to pay bills and buy supplies for our new house. The decision then came to just sell everything because I wasn't paying any attention to the tank. My daughter just came home in the middle of September and is now up to 8 lbs and is doing fantastic. She does have Spherocytosis (blood disease) that requires a visit to the Hematologist weekly (along with visiting atleast a dozen other doctors monthly) but its nothing major at this point.

I truly hope to come back into this wonderful hobby at some point in the future when we are more financially stable and have more free time. I wish everyone luck with their reef and in their personal life too.

Have fun ya'll.

Awe Josh, man I hate it! I understand it though. I have been there except I condensed a 125g down to a 20g. Why not set up a nano at least and save some frags? When your ready to come back I am sure many of us will send you some frags.

Keep us updated about the baby. I know she is going to be ok. Just enjoy her while sehs little.....

whats up josh.....i wish u well my friend. We have priorities in life and family is always #1

what did you do with that pink lemonade chalice anyway?

Thanks guys, I would keep a nano-tank if I knew that I'd have the time to actually take care of it and let things prosper. But I feel like I need to completely get out of it all for now so I can refocus on everything.

I only have 3 corals left in my tank, Afterburner Chalice, Pink Lemonade Chalice, and Baby's Breath Favia. The two chalices are going to my buddy to growout and enjoy, not sure about the BB Favia, might be up for grabs.

Luckily many of the people I sold my high-end stuff to promised to give me free frags when I get back in the hobby.

Best of luck to your daughter and family Josh! Hope you can join us again in the future, I'll have a frag or 2 for you when you are ready.
