Leaving town help?

Okay I'm leaving town for 2-3 days my main concern are the lighting for my corals I have no timer on them so should I leave them with no lighting ? Or should I turn on the moon lighting for the 2-3 days straight that I'm gone ? PS I have auto fish feeder if your wondering for my fish

2-3 days with no light will be ok. I wouldn't let it go any longer though.

You can also go a couple days without feeding your fish. I do it all the time when my family and I go camping for the weekend. I just feed them well before leaving and when I get home. Well, let me correct that most fish can go a couple of days without eating with no issues.

It should be fine for a few days with no light. Some people even black out their tanks when they are having an algae issue for a few days to kill off some of the algae. I would be more concerned with evaporation depending on if you have an ATO or not. I know on my tank the return section of my sump is small so if it went a day or two the return pump would be pushing air.

You can get timers at Walmart for about $10. Have a safe trip.
