I found this after researching the APEX controller. it is APEX ready and built to order. Does anyone know of the quality or usefulness of these lights?

I should add that I did search before posting with no luck, so I apologize if i missed it. Also, I have only really done FOWLR tanks up until now. I would like to Use my current 75g AGA reef ready tank for this build. My future corals will consist of mainly zoas and palys. possibly some LPS down the road.

I just need to know if this type of a light fixture is worth buying. It seems to be on the cheaper side for LED from what I have found. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Color temp is mostly based on how you want it to look 14k will be more white than blue. Good for growth but the colors will be somewhat muted. A 20k bulb gives better color but slower growth. Personally if I had to choose a spectrum it woulb be 18k. hth

Talked to the co founder and these guys know what they are doing and looks like a quality product.

Their drivers do work with the APEX.

Given the LED drive current they chose and the quality of their driver and LEDs you can expect at least twice the light per watt compared to a MH.
