Led and t5

So I’ve had good results with radions but have never used t5 or mh lights and on my new grow out/ frag tank I’m thinking of doing t5s with leds. My question is it really noticeable any growth or color or is T5 just a waste of money and electric when you have good led lights. What have you guys observed with T5 lights when added to radions. A guy from brs told me to just use t5s on the build but idk I like my radions so far.

I've observed, online of course mostly, some of the best reef tanks ever and many many totm's lit by T5s. Add a reefbrite xho onto a 6 or 8 bulb ATI and you can't go wrong lighting wise.

T5s have the best coverage. Less shady areas

Radions grow corals very well.

T5 grow coral very well.

Radions with t5 grow coral very well.

That’s the simple answer.

Yes, you can notice a difference.* Will you care is the main question. Some people care, some people don't, but they are not the same.

*not everybody can notice, just like some people cannot notice that a Porsche is faster than a Honda Accord... but most can notice.
