LED and zoa growth

Question to people using all LEDs.

How is your growth with zoas?

I'm not talking about people who use blues for actinic/moonlighting. Please post if you use LEDs only, no supplementation (Halides,T5s).

I'm thinking of going all LEDs. My coral collection is pretty much sps and zoas.

I'm running only LED on my display, but its too new to make a determination. Its been running for about 2 months.

i get pretty good growth and color with led

im running just powerbrites in my temporary holding tank (18x18 size) and all my zoas have grown with great color compared to my preivous setup of t5s only.

In the past my mohawks would look brownish, now its pink and you can see all the sparkles. My rainbows are much better in color as well. I'm in the process of transitioning to Luke's fixture - ill see how those work out.

I'm running a PAR38 on my picotope. I get amazing color on my zoas, but they all shrink a little under LEDs. They never need to stretch for light. So, that may be why.

I switched from PC's to a custom 3 watt per LED setup a few months back and my zoas have colored up considerably. 2 factors for this, I can dial in more of a blue temp color and the higher par. I'm also have a few Deep Cyan Green LEDs mixed in with the normal blue/whites to give them a wider color spectrum. Here's an example of one of my zoas under the new lights:

All LEDs on my 24g and zoas still grow like crazy. SPS and LPS are also growing like weeds. Over 1" per month growth on acro branches.

Roshi, I have had a 90W LED fixture (45 each 1W white and blue bridgelux diodes) that has been on the tank since january 2010. The picture in my avatar is a top-down shot of that very tank. Keep in mind these pictures were taken with a cell phone so the quality isn't the best but the colors are pretty true to life.
