Hello all,

I did something stupid! I changed my light settings a few months ago because i was not happy with light how thinga looked. But since i changed them no growth is there. So i am thinking i need the right ratio for growth i guess. I have a evergrow IT5040 can somebody help me out with this maybe ? I run like 5% whites and blue 80%.

Thanks in advance!

You saw growth before? What was it set to at that time.

I would say a few months is well more than enough time for stuff to acclimate so unless it now has way too little light or something I would wonder what else changed.
Zoas grow much faster with certain nutrients available so it may not be just a lighting issue. Look up what Zoas like available in the tank to grow.
There is also having the proper flow but I'm not sure that would effect growth so much as whether or not it looks healthy and is opening properly.
People report one type of Zoa growing fast while the one next to it grows barely at all. Usually to spite you its the really cool look expensive one that refuses to grow.

If they are all opening and looking fine I would think it just needs a bump possibly in several ways to start really spreading.

i had growth yes, but ofcourse i forgot the settings. My parameters are good and stable. that's why i think it has to do with the lightning.
at the moment there is no growth at all even the most simple zoas like eagle eye.

thanks for your clear answer i apriciate it!
