I purchased a used ati nanobox setup and I’m trying to dial in the led settings right now. I’m not using the t5 bulbs at the moment because I don’t have any coral that need the extra light. The leds are controlled by a bluefish controller. The issue I’m having is the bulbs colors don’t match the predetermined colors. This is how mine is setup
Channel 1 royal blue is actually white/yellow
Channel 2 white/lime is Dark blue
Channel 3 Violet is actinic/purple
Channel 4 Blue/cyan is light blue
Channel 5 moonlight looks the same as channel 2 just less bulbs.

Because the settings don’t match, the preconfigured location settings don’t really work. I’m not sure if there is a way, short of rewiring the light, to fix this. If not, what settings do you all run yours at? I’m trying to tone down the white a little bit at the moment because I just got done with the new tank diatoms and am in the new tank cyano phase and waiting for it to pass.
Thank you for all the help!
The pictures attaches are what each channe looks like. I guess I could check the predetermined settings and then just swap the first two channels myself.

I’ll also add my current settings:
Morning
White/yellow 1- 27%
Dark blue 2- 55%
Actinic 3- 50%
Cyan/light blue 4- 45%
Dark blue 5- 27%

Midday
1-43%
2- 84%
3- 85%
4- 65%
5- 53%

Evening
1- 25%
2- 60%
3- 60%
4- 45%
5- 27%

I just made these numbers up based upon how the tank looked. When I start running the t5s I will adjust these settings even more. I imagine I will pretty much turn off the whites, and run the blues and actinic with the t5s. Use the leds more for supplemental color pop.

Was hoping someone could help with understanding the color chart, i understanding the color percentage but what controls the intensity? I was figuring the first red channel but then again there are two reds and two blues . Im running 3 kessil a360we so i chose the kessil on the app. Thanks in advance my fellow reefers

They are pretty easy to rewire if you really want to use the presets, I'd just rename the channels if it were me.

Dave of Nanobox closed his doors a while back unfortunately. Spencer at Bluefish is still around I think if you have any questions regarding the controller. If you don't know which wires are for which channels it's going to be challenging to figure out. Seriously, I'd pass on the presets and just rename the channels to the right colors and make your own program. You got yourself an awesome light!

Thanks for the info, so renaming the channels? That would be for each color spectrum im guessing lol

Yup, the ones that are mixed up, just rename, and change the color of the graph.
