I ordered a led like this

And decided to go with something bigger and am sending them back. I think he color is too pink/purple and don't know if I should have them rip out all the colored bulbs and replace them with just white and blues. Any suggestions?

Is that unit dimmable by white and blues? Just dom out the blues a bit more rather than having them up higher, if you don't like the color. But the set up looks fine to me, same coloration I've got on mine.

The one in the first pic is what I'm returning. It's way too pink. I can pick the bulbs to customize and want advice on what bulbs to get

IMO, needs less 14k and more in the yellow spectrum. I love my LED with a Warm spectrum in them. seems to get rid of the pink.

not 10% sure on it, but here is the light I have.

I have my blues set at 70% and whites at 40%. below is the layout from their site. Looks like 6500K.

here are two photos taken last night. both from the same RAW file off my Nikon. the first is as shot and the camera shows it at 6100k.

The second one is more as my eyes see it. I have color corrected it to 10,000k

I haven't seen a true benefit to reds. I don't care for the pink spots in the tank now and am def doing away with them.

I am a firm believer in the 6500k. My previous system was all royal blue and then a mix of cool and warm whites. No other fancy colors were out then. It was a great custom system that made a nice 10,000 Kelvin color.
