Hello friends.
Its about 2 months i have a problem with my tank.
I want to build my own LED set up,but the matter is that the brand LEDs you guys talking about does not exist in the market.(its iran)
What do you aadvise me to do?

There are LEDs for salt water aquarium, from green and red to blue and cool white with20000 and 25000 k .
I wanted to know if its better to use them or just continue with my metal h?
Although the metal i use is not brand too.

What about just adding some blue and RB supplementation LEDs?

Ok. What other than coral growth is your priority? PAR or PUR ?o_O If it is PAR save your money and buy ReefBreeder. If You want High PUR your buy AquaRay, Kessils or Orephek. Not to say that you should not buy AI,Radion or Ecotech. These are Quality lighting but there is better lighting for about the same cost. For now 1st) Kessils 2nd) Aquaray 3rd) Radion (The Best but real expensive= Orephek) Buy the best you can afford that meets or exceeds your goals and Good luck

I really don't think there is anyway any one person could judge which one of these is better or worse. The fusion 20 is a small foot print and shallow as far as tanks go. Almost any high end lighting like radio pro 15 should supply more than enough light. I would use the wide angle lense. the 15 pro has more horse power than you could use.

I find it hard to disagree with any of the above suggestions. There is some led manufacturers that sell in the UK so why not in iran?
What brands of leds are available for DIY in Iran?

I most agree ( one person could judge which one of these is better or worse.) and this would include you as well. The Poll above is to get a general consensus as to his preference versus many others. I have found out that some people have made up their mines already and are not open to others opinions. Which is fine as I am Not an expert and am learning all the time, which includes the Data from the Experts in Aquarium lighting. My opinions are Only that, just opinions.:D:cool:

It would be nice to see some data on the new Atlantik V3! I'm sure it'll be a little while but hopefully sooner then later.

Let me go and ask them the LED brand and then i can tell you whats that.
A simple question how much does an ordinary salt water LED cost there?(just one LED)

You can buy most "ordinary" Leds here for $3-$5 each.
I know you said you can't get these over there but this site is a good way to look up leds and find out about them. http://www.rapidled.com/leds/

The LEDs sold in market are about 1$.LOL.
Well you can get cheaper ones, like Reef Breeders sells the diodes that come with their fixture https://www.reefbreeders.com/leds/
The other ones I put a link to are just higher end leds. There's also a lot more options for colors and watts. I'm no Led expert though. I have thought about building my own lights before though. Always ended up thinking it'd be smarter and more cost effective to buy a fixture.

You did a good job with the fixture. Does that color combo give you a 10k-14k look? Where it's a fish only tank I wouldn't worry about spectrum as much as looks but if you build a reef led you'll want diodes that you know the NM's and not just the color of the diodes. [emoji3]
