Well unfortunately no data is provided in link or any of the highlighted bullets that I was able to see. BUT my translation of what was written was that LEDs driven at high current will drop efficiency of bulbs...
So my understanding is that all these Chinese or value fixtures with 1 watt LEDs that are driven at max are much less efficient which all the LED gurus have been saying. Hence the recommendation of using 3 watt Cree bulbs and running them at a lower percentage of power. So I guess the Crees are in fact more efficient and using the proper drivers there probably is little or no decline in efficiency and output of these bulbs because they are not being run at high current? Hoping the gurus will chime in here with their research. And as far as the t5 comment...we all know LEDs are way more efficient even if they lose intensity.
