I would like to replace my 6 bulb T5 lighting with LED's but I have know idea how many lumens, watts or par I need for my tank. I woud like to mount them in my canopy that I am rebuilding now to make it taller than the current one. I want to mount the led's in the canopy for a nice clean look. Here is my setup now I have a 90gal reef that is 48x18x24 and my T5's sit about 5-6" above the water in my canopy. My corals are: finger leather, frog spawn, ricordia, a couple different zoas, bubble coral and a couple others that Im not sure of cause Im kinda new at the coral keeping. The next thing is budget for the upgrade is $0.00 - $850.00.

Are you good with diy then you could go with the 90 gallon kit with rapid led

I looked at that and really thinking about that setup. They were dimmable had a controller for the setup. Also apex would work with them. Really nice products. I would like to see some pictures of them on tanks.
