LED for 40b

I know this question gets thrown around a lot. Sitting on the fence right now before I pull the trigger. I am currently looking at the rr dm165p. With is hanging above the tank will it light it sufficiently enough to not have any dark spots and have growth on the sides? Was stuck on frame mounted lights but have come to the conclusion that within my budget it prob is doable....

If i had to do it all over again i would probably go with reefbreeder photon, or T5/MH. I have a reefRadiance pro180. Not putting a bad name on anything but i'd like to see what the t5/MH would grow over my 40gb

I love my Photon 24 it given me great growth and color for my sps, but my only regret is i didnt get the 32. This way i wouldnt have dark edges on the tank.
