LED for BTA???

For a BTA will a 48w Nicrew or 72w aquaticlife HM or a combination of both give enough par in a 55g? Thanks in advance for any and all help.

It will depend on where the nem settles, It should find a good spot where it likes. A standard 55 is pretty deep so those lights wont get a ton of par to the bottom.

Unsure about those lights. Even with my kessil 360's at 95% my nems sit right under the lights, high as they can get.

Cheapest lights would be a nicrew 100w or the smatfarm from amazon. Both have good reviews and would work.

Two nicrew 100w would be better then one. Am I correct with that assumption?

Absolutely, for a standard 55 you would need two 100w or two of the smatfarms.

Both of those lights put out alot of par and would do well for anything you put in the tank at an affordable price.

I have a nicrew 100w 15inchs off water at 100 white 100 blue I get 275par 8 inches into water. 130par on sandbed 15 inches from top off water. So nicrew has enough lighting imo but you need 2
