new tank 48 wide 36 deep 18 high. I have one radion xr30 pro but it's not enough and didn't want to spend 2000 on 3 more. Should I sell it and start over or add something else to fill the outside. Thanks

If you're going for a clean look then I would buy a t5 fixture or buy 3 more radions. Eventually you'll spend the same amount of money. Money up front for radions or majority of the money on t5 setup upfront and spending the rest on bulbs over the years. Otherwise, if you build a canopy you can put the one radion with wide angle lens and fill in with t5 retrofit to reduce cost. Lighting always seems to be the hardest decision for most. I'm in the same position with my upcoming 180 gallon build.

Want to Save some money and have it look good. GO with 2
46 inch and 2 14 inch to supplement your Radion and you are at about $1200 instead and it will look great.

Orbit Marine or Marine Pro's may do the job. The Pro's come in a dual but I think you'd need three bars to pull it off. Their ramps timers are nice too.

Thanks guys I have looked at several diy leds blue acro is the first choice if I go that way I can do 8 for less that 600.00 anyone tried or seen them

I really think you are better off with the Aquatice Life XS-UVs for $800 and they are programmable, look nice and are quiet. Not sure you can DIY and make it programmable for that amount.

1 ap700 would work for that at about 15in. two would be better.(1 ap with t5's would be bomb in that tank) 3 or 4 16in mars aqua or SBreeflights would be perfect , it would be power overkill buy the spread, you could even pull the lenses and be fine.. 2 photon v2s but you could probably go with just one, need to check the spread on that from back to front. Plenty of power to do that. . Id have to dig into the lenses on radions but you prob only need 3 total.
