LED left in direct sunlight and heat.

I have a question... I ordered a black box LED and its been in direct sun in 80 plus degrees for more than 48 hours. however, It is still in its original packaging...

Should I be worried of this damaging the electronics or the LEDs? should I request an exchange? or it unlikely anything happened to it?

running temp of the heatsinks can get upwards of 140 degrees so the heat alone from an 80 degree day shouldn't hurt it.

I figured that the leds and heat sink seeing 80 plus degrees may not be an issue My concern was more with the electronics and cuircuit boards... do you think that wpuld be an issue?

80 degrees is not a problem for electronics. Electronics have a wide range of temperatures that they will still function normaly in. Safe storage, non running temperatures are usually much higher.

Capacitors would be just about the only thing that could degrade from high ambient temperatures.

Probably months. Not anything that being left out in the sun for day to be concerned with. And that would only be the electrolytic type capacitors that would degrade. And then it would probably have to be like 170+ degree ambient temps to cause any issues.
