I'm not happy with the coverage my 120w AJM value leds are giving me on my 195ga tank (72"x24"x26). To much shadowing between the units and the back of the tank isn't lit up enought for me. Not sure if I should adjust the hanging height or remove some of the optics to get better coverage. Running 90 degree optics now.
I've been looking at Reef Breeder and also Reef Radiance fixtures. I'm confused with some of the fixtures like the Reed Radiance 155e fixtures running at 155w. Same number of leds as the 120w units. Are they just running full 3w vs. only running 2w?
Also wondering if I would be better off with two 32" fixtures. Or would I create a dark zone in the middle were the 2 connect.
I'm primarily an SPS tank.
Any suggestion and input is appreciated.
