The reviews I see on the web are for the older model. This is the 2011 version. Any personal or first hand knowledge on this system. It has a par test and everything.

These use 1W Led's and IMO are not what i would spend any money on. 3W is pretty much the standard for Reef Tanks to get the proper Par and color spectrum with led's. For example these would be OK for Softies and Zoas but lacking for SPS JMO

Ok I just have about a $1000 budget on lights and wanted to upgrade from my 6 t5's. I emailed the company and asked them to send me a couple for free to do an extensive review. Lol

Be Carefull with that link posted. That site is infected with malware. Here is a screenshot of the java based malware it is loading on your system.

I'm using microsoft security essentials. Its free from microsofts website.
