Hello everyone. I'm interested in retrofitting my 12g nano with LED lighting (it currently has the standard flourescent with moon lights). Any suggestions?

Do the LEDs give that black light look they have at the store? My corals don't luminesce as much once I get them home.

I was able to get a blue actinic flourescent for now to brighten up the tank. I'm going to wait for LED's now for a bigger tank. Thanks for the advice!

I'm running as AI Sol Nano on my 8g cube. I like it. I tried a PAR 38 bulb, but this tank is under the cabinets in the kitchen, so there wasn't enough room.

Oreef, do you have any suggestions for DIY? Even with the new lights I have, there's not enough blue.

Thanks! I just checked out the Steve's lights. That's great that they fit under the plastic light cover. Do you have them?
