I believe the only thing left for me to buy are my lights. We use marineland double bright LED on our freshwater and have nothing but good things to report so looking to get LED for the saltwater tank too. Specs below.

Reef tank will eventually be LPS dominate.
40 gallon breeder - 36x18x16

Here are some links that i've been looking at..
Amazon.com: Marineland Reef Capable LED Aquarium Lighting System 24-36": Pet Supplies

Arctic-S026 LED Aquarium Light_Aquarium LED_OCEANREVIVE LED

Amazon.com : EXPOWERTT Dimmable Aquarium Coral Reef LED Grow Light (165W Output, full spectrum Two-Year Warranty : Pet Supplies
I had asked before about specs that I should be watching for but never received a clear answer so if i'm way off mark, please point me in the right direction :)

Thanks!

I had the marineland and it was not so reef capable. Good light for the price for fish only tank but not so much for corals. if those are your choices i would go with the Arctic-S026.

Depends on how high you plan on hanging them. One will give you a bit of shadowing on the edges, but should do ya fine.

if your only doing lps one will work. I am all about overkill if it was me id go with 2. 2 is still cheaper than allot of the other options out there.
