Do you think a Current U.S.A Orbit 48"-60" Marine light is over kill and maybe will bleach some of my "stuff" (basics: Zoas, Kenyan Tree, Mushroom looking softies, hammer coral, and rock anemone)? I took down my 120 gallon tank and have this light I love personally because of the timers and settings and ease of use without having to mount to my ceiling or walls (I know - im a newbie ). Besides it hanging over the 20 gallon long and looking kinda funny do you think this is a bad idea? My thinking was - the bigger light, the more wattage. I think it would be fine as long as you can dim it. Just run it at 50% or less of whatever you had it at originally. I'd imagine the number of LEDs actually putting light into the tank is not much different than the smaller model?
