Hey guys, I am trying to decide on what led light I should get. I currently have a kessil 150 over a 60g 24x24x24 cube. I am contemplating over a radion or vega. I would like to be able to use the light for when I upgrade to a 150g and would just purchase more of the same model. Cost is not a factor to me, so what light has the best growth? Thanks, shane

Both are better than most of the Generic Chinese Imports given Efficiency and Quality.

Between the two I like the LED Mix of Radion better. That said both fixtures do not bin their LEDs for optimal looks...The Cree XTE Royal Blue is much brighter than the AI Osram Deep Blue and can be had in the same spectrum. The cost is a tad more but the efficiency and look of the right bin are worth it.

That said if you cannot bin the XT-E Royal Blue tossing in a few Ultra Violet aka UV helps the look but does less for PAR as binned Cree XT-E.

Between the two the Radion would be a better option but there are better and more efficient Fixtures out there.

DIY is also an option where you can choose your own LED Recipe and easily swap out a LED or two to tweak the colour.

Check out the Orphek leds.

Thanks for the help bill, I ended up going with the radion gen 2 and am very happy with it so far. I have not played around with the customization settings yet but the colors I am getting out of my coral blew me away! I was able to get it for 575 otd which is better than the prices online. Thanks again and i will upload some pics asap
