LED lighting question

$10-$20 so it's a very good idea. :)

While you're at it, I'd suggest Selecting a microscope. You can get a perfectly acceptable toy scope for $10-$20 that'll let you view up to 1200x and to become capable of solving a lot of mysteries in your tank. :)

Good Idea, thanks, I am in australia, where do i get the meter from please

Can i jump in here please, I have 2 52's on a 4 foot tank, but i am not sure what i should be running them on, i have a mixed tank,
A PAR Meter is a must at least for start and finish readings.

I would tune the % to suit the looks you prefer. Most like more blue and less yellow/green. Then slowly acclimate to 100% or 200 PAR on the sand bed.
