Looking for some LED lighting suggestions for the 36g bow front I am building. The dimensions of the tank are 30x15x21. I want to keep LPS, softies, news and easier SPS (eventually). I have been considering the Hydra 26 HD, I like the wifi functionality. Do you think I would need two, there is a center brace. Of course the AI primes would be more economical but not sure they would work in a tank this deep. Also very open to other LED models/styles, so please let me know what you think. TIA!

If there is a center brace you'll want to make sure you have light on each of the sides of the brace. Either two fixtures, or a single that places individual light sources on each side of the brace.

That makes sense, does any one have suggestions? Open either one long strip or 2 seperate. Would two Hydra 26s be overkill? If I could save a bit of $ I wouldn’t mind it.

Tank is cycling, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The two primes is perfect for you.
Two kessil 160 or 360.

Current orbit Marine pro would work.

Take a look at zetlight systems as well.

SBreeflight Ultras
Reefbreeders Photon series as well.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

2 26s could handle an all sps tank imo.

Although I would like the 26s, I do not plan to keep difficult SPS right now as this is my first tank and I am definately going to have learn as I go. Would you say the primes would be enough for men’s, lps, softies and easy SPS s? Thanks!

I have 2 160we’s in my 36 bow front. only some zoas, green polyp leather, and a Davis. I love it!

Yes I think two primes would work. I would also look at the kessil 160s as other have suggested. I also like nanoreefs LEDs made by Dave. I dont think he is a member on this forum but he makes awesome lights imo. I am currently running an ati t5/LED hybrid he built for me.
