I am in the process of setting up an IM Nuvo 10 gallon and need LED lighting suggestions.

The tank will house mostly LPS. Thanks in advance.

Kessil A160, Radion XR15W, AI Prime, or Hydra 26 HD.

I would lean more towards the hydra 26 HD or Prime.

I have the Kessil A160 over my biocube, beautiful light with incredible shimmer. Just make sure you purchase the controller with it, really makes it a complete unit. Thinking about moving up to the A360we, love Kessil so far.

My wall has built in electricity and my $9 timers turn off and on. What else is there for a light to do once you adjust the knobs a bit?

I'm being a bit sarcastic but spending big money on lights seems crazy! It's a 10 gallon tank, not that there's anything wrong with that :p

I have to agree with McMullen. It's a ten gallon, why break the bank on it? One of the Chinese black boxes on Ebay would work very well. Many have had good luck with them.

My only problem with these is the goose neck is an additional $30-40. And if you upgrade to a larger tank you have to buy more of these or upgrade your lighting. For same/similar cost a black box would be super over kill on a 10 gal, but with plenty light for a potential size upgrade. There are no wrong choices here, just depends on the future. And once someone gets the reef bug you know an upgrade is coming

I am growing euphyllia (frog spawn), caulastrea (trumpet), chalices, bubble tip anemones under a Rapid LED Par 38 over my 14 gallon nano cube. I am using a hanging plant hanger and a modified clamp on light cord as the "fixture". Didn't cost that much and doesn't look too bad.
