Hi everyone,
I've been on the sight for about 3 months now and enjoy it very much. there seems to be quite a few experts here. I find myself in need of one.
my question or problem is my led lighting, I am having trouble getting the intensity set, especially the whites. I have a 65g mixed reef with a aquaticlife 36" fixture. I switched to LED about a year ago and since then my corals have not looked quite as good as with the T5's from before. the y don't look bad it's just that their polyps don't seem to extend quite as much. my blues are on about 18 hrs a day at 75%. The problem (I think) is the whites. They are on 7 hrs a day at 40% and no matter what percentage I set them at , it doesn't seem to make a big difference, although higher settings seem to diminish their expansion.
Corals are lps, sps some softies and mushrooms and a derasa clam. the clam seems to do very well no matter the light setting. Tank perameters are all good
Thanks for reading and any suggestion would be appreciated.

I running 50% white and 100% blue for 10 hours and then 4 moonlight mode. the light are Orbit Marine. I was have issue with color and the corals just ok. I discovered by accident that my trace element were out of wack by changing to much water(striped the tank and kill off a few fish by stressing them with the water changes). So I starting dosing trace elements and my colors are really coming back without all of the water changes. I am test the colors and will setup a auto doser once I get the dosing correct manually.
