currently am changing over to a 96x35x24 320gal fowlr tank and am looking to led lights. WOW so much info is overwhelming. Don't want to refi my house so I am looking at the BB lights, can you wire a controller to these as I don't want manual switches and multiple timers. I currently am using a current orbit ic on my 180 gal so I like the ideal of this type of control any and all help be great

You could do the SB reef lights. Depending on which one you choose they either come with an internal timer that you can set a schedule or the next step up from that are WiFi controllable and they're reasonably priced

If you want effects and dawn to dusk I would look into some of the strip light options out there. The controllability of the wifi BB's even SBreef (I own one of these) is a little tricky and they don't come with effects right out of the box you have to program them

For a FOWLR, just look for (and pay for) the feature that you want. The fish will not care at all, so don't worry about spread or PAR too much. Unfortunately, features are the expensive part. SB and ReefBreeders are the best of the lower priced units, but they do not have features and apps like the $750+ units do.

I would just get a 4/8 pack of generic some black boxes on a timer and dial them in by hand. The novelty of "playing" with them fades, IMO.

Are you going to use a single row of 4 lights? Dual rows? What are you thinking?

It hurts me to see someone with such a beautifully sized tank not have any coral LOL. But I would just do the cheapest strip LEDs or black boxes you can find on Amazon.

not sure of single or 2 row, was looking if I were to us the black box like 5 off them as I have a canopy. I might do coral in the future but for now stay as I am. Ibacha how do you control yours, I have also looked at a company called led supply so DYI I do like as most all I my equip I have made or improved on

I like that's one I haven't seen yet other than the controller thanks for the links
