Hi
I have a RSM 130d and I am looking to invest in some arcadia blade marine led units to fit in the hood of my 130d can someone please advise me if these are better than my standard t5s

Never had any experience with those LED's you mentioned but they look like they are only good for Fish only tanks.

If you want coral, I would look into higher wattage LED's or stick with your T5. You shouldn't have any issue growing coral with the T5.

Ok pal thanks just read they give out 26watt each so no good do you know if two tmc aquaray would be better?

Don't have experience with those either.

Personally if I was going to change the lighting to LED, I would go with something DIY.
Then I know exactly what kinds of LED I am using, the wattage, and easily replaceable.

Check out Rapid LED, they have a section for the 130d.

Just been to my dry good supplier and he reckons just because the arcadia blades output are less than my t5s my corals will get the same amount of light if not more is this true?

LED will use a lot less energy in terms of watts, but 26w is not even close to enough for corals. The tank itself might appear brighter, but the light will probably not be the correct PAR or spectrum

The vega were fine. Don't think they have wifi control though. The only problem with the vega on a small tank like that would be spread. The LED won't be high enough to get a decent spread in the tank
