I have recently purchased a led light. What is suggested length of time for light ti be on? Moon phase length?

I see you are from Ohio as well cool deal, well TBh with the marineland, they arent a very powerful LED light, however fish, corals and such need darkness , I would say have them come on around 10ish and off by 8ish or so. I change mine with how it is outside. so in the summer they stay on longer and in the winter I cut them back a bit.

Corals can only use light for 12hrs so what was said above is a perfect time frame to start with and if needed you can turn em on for a couple hours longer.
