Hey guys I’m about purchase a reefer 350 and was wondering with the Red Sea led are they worth the purchase or not I don’t know much on the Red Sea led would like your opinions

Red Sea lights are still having issues. If I had to buy a light system today it would be Kessels, T-5 Or a hybrid of them. Ecotech lights are even having issues with this latest version.

I run led and t5 hybrid lighting on my 3 ft long sps tank.

I have alternated several times between 3 red sea. LED 50s and 4 Kessil a80s.

Red Sea app was initially a little buggy, but overall no serious issues. I like the light, but the actinic is purplish and corals don't fluoresce well. Shimmer is pretty good.

Kessil shimmer is a little better and fluoresce is way better. I really don't like having to buy a separate controller with Kessil lights, I just have mine plugged into a timer.

For what it's worth, the Kessils are over my tank and the Red Seas are boxed up.
