Not sure if this is a thing or not but do LED lights, even though they turn on still lose their effectiveness on corals. I have had these for sone time now, honestly can’t remember how long and wondering if they just lose their potency on corals. They are SB REEF LIGHT brand which my LFS doesn’t even carry no longer (wondering why) and hasn’t had them forever, but after trying a bunch of things to help my corals grow the lights are the one thing I haven’t changed and wondering if they just don’t do what they need to no longer. Thanks in advance.
 
I wish I had a better idea of when I bought them but I really don’t I’m pretty sure it’s been over 5 years pretty easily
 
They do lose some efficiency (PAR) overtime. This is discussed in some depth in the thread below:
