LED mounting.. How high off of the water?

How high is everyone mounting thier LEDs off of the water?

BRS has good vids on lighting.....but ”my” short answer is I’d start with about 8-9 inches and see if you got “light spillage” outside the glass... PAR meters are helpful... Also: what are your coral types?

Depends on the LED and manufacture recommendation, and BRS. Mine are mounted 14 inches above the water.
