I have some radions over my anemone tank and I was just curious if there was an easy way to read the Neptune par meter or a way to get a good estimate of my true par? I don’t need exact since it’s just lps/anemones but I was just curious if there was anything I could do?

For example if my par read 92 under radions can I just add a certain number to get closer to the true par? Obviously lux meters are better but I was just curious....thanks!

I’m a bit confused.
The par meter is giving you the par reading. No?

There should be no conversion needed.

Hahaha it is but I was told pat enters read lower than what the true level is? Or is that not true?
Hahaha. Yea, folks read into stuff way to much. It’s like doubting an all test. Yea there may be some amount of error + - , but no. That’s the par.

If the meter stays submerged as a monitor (not needed in Led really),
Make sure you Clean it so it gets the best reading.

Okay got it!!! So if it’s off a little bit it’s not off by like 100 or anything like that
