Ok so im getting around 600 at surface but drops quickly. Is this normal for led or am I losing that much that quick? Mid tank I have 250 and at sand I have 120. The tank is 40 cube.

Thats sounds about right. Those kessil 150's dont have a lot of punch. But that is plenty of PAR if you place the corals accordingly.

It depends on the lamps you purchase check with someone locally there par , My pacific suns 4 x 150 was terrible 16 inches of water lamp at 100&% was only getting 50 par on bottom lamp 18 inches over the top of water. Purchased Fathom Hydra series same height above water and was able to get 400 par at bottom of tank if needed.

Thanks guys. Im getting good polyp extension on everything and all looks happy so i suppose it will work for now. I added the 15000k to the tank along with the 10000k so i have more than i did from the start. I did research some and read that led's can put out more than the meter actually reads. Some of the diy led kits recommend slow acclimation because of that. I know on my next build with led im thinking may go with the diy or the high end lights. I am going to have sun in it.lol
