LED Rack, Has any one used this one?

Looking at the link, you may be able to ask the seller to set the lights higher off of the water.

I was thinking of email and asking, the bottom part says it comes with 10 and 14 inch legs i believe. Would 14 be to close?

Says the legs are 10". Then add the difference of how far below the tank top the water level is.
Many have their led fixtures in the 8" to 12" range.
My Radions are 9-1/2" from the water.

Well, this is my first time with LEDS, that's good to know. I think I going to buy these then. Sounds like they will do what I need them to do.

The problem is, the 180 is in my office and its a drop celling so I need some type of rack to place them on bc I cant hang from the ceiling.

For a 6' tank it was approx. $125 ( if I remember right) About half of what some of the pre-built ones I was looking at back then.
If you look at the last picture you can see the tops of the small machine bolts that are the same thread size and pattern as the holes in the top of the fixtures.
I used 2-1/2" long stainless( 316) bolts, so the fixtures would hang a little below the rack.
The aluminum square tube was easy to cut and drill through.
If you don't have the work area or tools to cut the tube, you can have the company cut all the sizes.
The stuff is easy to assemble. Just tap the connectors into the tube and it's done.
Once I had all my pieces cut and the ends dressed ( de-burred) it took less than a half hour to assemble all the pieces.

Reefkoi will take care of you. He used to be a sponsor here but it appears he has gotten out of the coral propagation business. If you have ever done a Cherry Corals live sale, he is the one they are always posting pictures of and asking for you to caption them.

You can hang lights from drop ceiling. I did it for 20 years

There are brackets made just for that application

Sorry to hear that. He may actually be getting out of the business all together for all I know. He used to be in construction and turned to selling corals/led lights full time after the housing bust. With the market red hot now he may have gotten back into the construction business.
