Ok I have a 90 gallon (48" long) with T5 4 bulb HO lights currently. I've been toying with the idea of adding a 48" reef brite blue LED strip, but I'm open to other suggestions, just to all some of that LED shimmer and my corals pop.

My tank crashed about 3 months ago and I'm down to a yellow tang, clown, green bta, mushroom, and a pink cabbage. I've been doing a ton of upgrades equipment wise after this crash and we have worked hard to get it back into tip top shape. The lighting is basically the last thing on my list to look into.

Any suggestions?

You could replace one of your t5 bulbs with an e5 LED retro bulb. Otherwise I think the reefbrite is a great option.

I did think about that but I've leaned against it because I'd like the ability to control the led bar a little more than the built in timer for my T5. But I wouldn't say that idea is dead yet. Thanks for the input.

Reefbrites is what I use and others use. Reefbrites have mounting hardware to secure your LED bars also which makes them easy to add .

I got a good deal from a reefbrite from my LFS. Good price and support the local guy. Win win. Thank you all for the input.
