Hey everyone! I'm looking to get some of the full spectrum lights for my 150 but I don't want them hanging from my ceiling, personally think it looks tacky. Anyone have any ideas to mount above my tank?

Depending on the brand there are several out there that make a bracket for their lights. Then you could always magiver your own out PVC, or Angle iron .... there's probably a lot of different options for that out there, but I'm not very handy with those things. I guess I'll just let the handy people chime in lol

How about a floating canopy where it is actually attached to wall. So you can't see how it's hung. Or depending on lighting some company's make after market rail kits that sit on top of tank like older lighting

Definitely looks nice but I had to move my tank out from wall a ways

Hopefully they will come with something. Was thinking about some kinda bracket system but I'm not o, the handy side as well

Haven't figured what brand I'm going to use,but right now I have a 72" Led bar with the programmable settings

My Mars aqua came wire and a clip, I installed two shelf L brackets with dry wall anchors. Worked out well, I have vaulted/angled ceilings. I also purchased yo-yo's to raise and lower lights but I don't feel like I need them.

That looks perfect!!

It's real simple I just got done making them.
3/4in metal conduit from lowes and a couple u clamps to clamp it to the back of the stand.
