I'm looking at supplementing my LED with T5s (4×80w) but I've never had T5 before and I'm not sure what color to pick. My tank is a 180g (72×24×25) and curently has a 48" maxpect razor in the middle.

We lost almost every coral and a few fish when we moved and we are planning on restocking this year ans building a sps dominant tank.

I'm awaiting your input on the subject..
Sorry for my english, it's not my first language [emoji6]

Thank you,

The most common answer is to get Blue Plus bulbs from ATI - this is a good place to start. If you like it whiter, then get 2x Blue Plus and 2x Coral Plus. If you like it really, really blue, then 2x Blue Plus and 2x Actinic.

The great thing is that you can use the Razors to blue or whiten the color when the T5s on so you have some flexibility.

Thanks,
And for growing SPS, will it be enough?

I have three Kessil A360WE LEDs with four 80 Watt T5s on a 6 foot tank. I use two ATI Blue Plus, one ATI Purple Plus and one KZ Coral Light II. I think I am going to swap out the Coral Light II or Purple Plus with an ATI True Actinic when I buy new bulbs. I think the coral had more pop with the True Actinic in the past. Also, #jda is exactly right. You can always change the spectrum of your LED to change the spectrum to something you like.

I retrofit my maxspect with 2 T5 bulbs 1 blue+ and 1 True Actinic
