Just wondering what is the best LED fixture and how many would i need for a 180 29" tall, by 28" wide by 51" long

price no object? Radion, 1 for every 2x2 area. no optics 0 par at 30". 800d each,w hanging kit

bag for buck, AI, 1 for every 2x2 area. choice of 40d or 70d optics for deeper or wider spread. about 400d each.

budget, Apollo Reef led see website

diy, reefledlights, great products service, great solderless kits

imho.

Well i it has the overflow the middle of the tank but more towards the back like centered but a foot from the back glass so i was just thing about lighting the front were most of the corals will be focused

Check out Kessil LEDs. You can see video of them on YouTube. I have 3 on a 4' 120g tank. They are AWESOME!!! Great shimmer and come in 3 temps, 10k, 15k, and 20k. Great light and very modern look!

I agree they are great and sleek fixtures but I can't see myself use them as a "Main" light for your size tank. IMO anything over a 40G size tank, I would use these Kessils as "Supplements" in conjunction with T5 or MH to make your corals pop more. They just don't do as well when a tank is 24" deep

I've got a par meter and have tested evolution Ai and max spect units. Ai are by far the most power.almost triple the par of the mazarra at 17 inches under water. Evolution are great on a budget. And max spect should keep their over priced unit in china :-). Hope that helped
