Would like to hear why so many have dropped there LEDs and went back to t5s . I am sure it is for growth but just wanted to hear Ty

T5 provide deeper and more variety of color in LPS for me, I dont believe its a LED vs. T5 problem, more my wallet cannot afford the LED fixtures that can provide full spectrum and get those LPS popping. One thing I will say is even with T5 only i'm not satisfied, I have to have at the least a moonlight strip of LED's for that color enhancement

I haven't run LEDs, but with the right bulbs in your t5 fixture you can get them to pop rele well. Although nothing makes them pop like a blue moonlight strip. I have 2 ati blue plus and 2 ati coral plus over my 57 in a trinity and it looks great, I've considered LEDs cause they give the tank a more sleek look. But I'll take coral growth at the sacrifice of some appearance

Just depends on what you like. I have seen tanks with LEDs that look amazing and tanks with t5s that look amazing.. I run leds now because I cant find a good price on a 36'' t5 fixture. t5s give a nice even light spread across a tank where as leds are like spot lights if not done correctly.
