ok got both heat sinks drilled an tape just six bits down an 3 screws snaped learned not to tap more than once with the same screw on 2nd sink lol and found radio shack move to otherside of mall lol need dimmer thingie i think lol so i can test them later thank god for saturdays nights

right now 58 lights tot. 10 of them is highnoon i have36 cree RB 3w xp-e 12cree xp e CW 3w have 4 drivers rated for 18-54 vdc 1 driver 12-36 wich i believe is for the highnoons correct? hope thats the right info you needed

yea got highnoons working what you know must of wired it up right lol only? is i can dim them but they dont go off is this normal for the inventronics or do i have the wrong potentiometer its 1/2 w 10k ohms linear ok onto cool whites pics to follow soon i hope

Ah, ok those are the Inventronics drivers, Just make sure you use the 1050 for the high noons and the 700s for the royal blues and XPE CWhite
Series is definitely the way you want to go. you can go 15 RB on two drivers and then 6 on the remainder, or what I would do is 12 on each. You can even add 3 more LEDs on each one of those drivers for a total of 15 on each. (if you wanted to toss in blues, etc)
You have the ability to make it completely custom

They are en route! I think we will have your Apex shipped out I think on monday or tuesday! (if it arrives on Monday will be going out on monday) Chinese New year caused a delay on a number of components for us and I would imagine Apex suffered from it as well

ok all lights mounted and soldered tested well but what would be ideal hight from top of 17" tank any suggestions going to build cabinet next so i like a head height from bot. of cabinet to top of tank and make lights adjustable

not much.been away from it for a while. trying to catch up on everything thats new.been sketching out my assault on the 300 deep demension. might go with t5 s for now until leds come down. you should be able to get great info on this sight...

have to get back to you on that get receipts together and still working out design but i like the option to add /or change lighting as needed 1 of the reasons stayed with shallow tank im trying to get maintance cost to beat int. setup cost tank maybe empty awhile though find scatch for inhabitants lol
