Ok sports fans. I have the evolution 120s on a 150 deep. They have done a good job. But want to go to the dimmable and if that is going to happen, I would like to see your all thoughts on which one between 1) AI Vega (I know not out yet), AI SOL Blues or Maxspect Mazarra P. You can throw in others if I missing them. I mostly have LPS chalices and scolymias and symphyllias. I really want the ability to have a nice smooth real life mimicing of how the sun rises and falls to my tank (that can be programmed).

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Dave

Make sure that whatever you buy incorporates 420nm violets, they are very helpful for providing the correct spectrum to color your corals up nicely. Also, you will want about 3-4 reds per 2-3 feet of tank, along with some greens and regular blues. The vega looks promising in spectral output, but very lacking in power. I would suggest a DIY fixture, Reef LED Lights and Rapid LED both have easy to assemble kits, and the dim4 from LEDgroupbuy allows realisitic sunrise?\/sunset control.
