IMO if you're gonna go with off-shelf LEDs you're better off spending a bit more and going with anything AI, Maxspect, or other higher end lights. Everyone here's got pretty strong feelings on the LED issue. Get the best you can afford as lighting is a VERY important aspect of reefing. Good water, good salt, good lights... nothing else matters that much assuming you're building a reef.

I'd hold off then and save. What lighting u currently run?

Also look into DIY! I know less than nothing about them but lots here know lots and are thrilled to help when they can.

Yeah that and the heat they throw off is why I went LED. You might consider looking around here for used LEDs to save some cash.

How big is your tank? How many MH are you running? I recommend doing a DIY led and doing half your tank and leaving half your tank under mh for a while and make sure you want to do the switch.

I use these LEDs and have no issue with them. They arent radions or AI's, but they get the job done. Decent color and growth.

if your gonna get chines lights go with tao tronic's there the best leds ever ( chines brand of course)! had them up for over a year now and amazing growth rate great specs, and not cheaply made and well known rep.

I run Radions looking close at PAC Sun pandoras too. Study up and DIY if you are looking at a budget read up lots of folks on this site that can lead you in the right direction. My 300 has 5 Radions, 1 4' Pharos and a custom all UV 6' led strip I watched the build on the UV strip not hard to do at all just tedious.
If you are on a budget DIY LEDs are they way to go. You will make the cost back quick in electric savings.

Check out the ocean revive, arctic s026 model. I use it now and it is worth the money. I believe they're on sale for around 179 or something.
