LEDZeal Mirage X300 - PAR Readings

Ill answer you like this. When i first set my tank up i had 6 blackbox lights and 4 t5. The blackbox were the wifi type, and ihad issues with the wifi loosing connection ect. I changed them over to ledzeals discontinued malibu s400 and kept the t5. That was a great improvement over the blackbox. When planning my new 1200g system, i was going to use the malibu, with cwstrife ( on here) custom layout, but the light was discontinued. I worked with ledzeal, cwstrife, for over a year trying to save the malibu, then with ledzeal to come up with a custom layout.
I designed the "superblue" layout, by copying the g5blue, redsea led,and hydra hd led colors/selection as much as i could with only 4 channels. I cut out the red and green, but used the cyan ( green) from the g5, and the violet blue (red) from the redsea led90 and orphek. These colors add the green and red while also supplemental blue too.
The light increased growth exponentially allong with an overall better color rendition over any of the previous led lights. I even removed the t5 as they were not adding any color, and these lights did away with any shadowing i previous had with the blackbox
Appreciate the reply...but you didnt answer my Q..lol. I know its only 'your opinion'..but I am interested to know if the x200 would give off better light/look better than my current set up on the video ?? Im just interested on what you think.

Ok ill try to answer all q's
Fans are not loud, but not dead silent either. I see people claim other lights fans are dead silent. That isn't the case with these, and to say they are would be misleading.
At 45% on each channel the fans dont come on. They come o. Around 55%.
Same setup and programming for all x150,x200&x300.
Theres not much for instructions, unless they started adding them, but when you program each channel (color line) you will see which lights it changes.
Yes they to ramp up and down in between each time set. So lets say 1400 -10%
1800 - 55%
Then at 1500 it will have ramped up to lets say 42%.
As for programming, when you plug the master in, it turns on. On the device that has the app, you go to the wifi, the mirage x wifi will show up. You connect to it, then open the app. Here is a pic of the layout per channel. The x300 has another square of led clusters.
When you open the app, you click on the icon in the pic, then choose one of the 3diy icons. Then the page with the 4 channels appears. You click on each channel and program the times and % at each time. As a heads up it only works with military (international time)
I assume by military time you don't mean GMT..so I would have to change the timer withing the app ??
I'll never have the lights about 45 - 50% so hopefully fans wont be an issue. Is it only the whites on high that set the fans off or is it any of the bulbs ? MY current set up doesnt have fans.
So as an example..if I want the blues to come on at 7.30am I would set the first option at 1% and then if I have the blues full on by 11am then over the 3.5hr it would ramp up 1% every few minutes...and then in the evening I start to ramp the blues back to zero so 100% at 7.30pm and 0% at 11pm will drop them 1% at a time as well.

You didn't say what lights you are running

Its a basic 4' 72 cree three channel black box also from China which is no longer available.
Hopefully this shows you the unit and the set up.

All Im interested in is whether the x200/x300 gives a better lighting spec than I showed you on my video.

Based on all my research and reading through almost every forum mentioning this they are unbelievably powerful with 120 degree lenses making the spread exceptionally good and an amazing spectrum

Par levels will be better, pur levels will be better, look is subjective so i cannot answer for you, but my opinion is it will look better especially in the morning and evening.

Military time uses 24hr.instead of the 12nr so 730am is 0730. 1pm is 1300. 7:27pm is 1927. And yes if you look at my pictures above the times are shown along with %. And the lights ramp up or down between each time stamp.

Fans will come on if any ch is increased over about 55% this is to keep the leds cool and protect them from heat damage. Again they are not loud, but also mot silent. You will probably never hear them since you will run them so low, and even when on, unless the room is deD silent you wont hear them either. I grow acro on the sand bed of my 2x2x6ft 180g with lights peaking at 45%.

well that was a bit of a let down. The cost incl shipping to the UK will be $500 for the 3' unit???
I can get the Evergrow 4' unit here in the UK for $540. It has 6 channels and the same number of settings although I dont think it has the option of increasing/decreasing as the Mirage does. The plus side is if something goes wrong the seller is 20 miles from me.

hi..just a thought..which company have you been speaking to? I'm wondering if we are speaking to the same store ??
Ledzeal is the manufacturer. Did you email [email protected] ? He is the sales rep i deal with.
Ill say this the mirage blows the evergrow out of the water in par, spread and pur ( usable light). The evergrow may be cheaper to buy in the uk though.

I have been told that the IT5012 ( the 4' model ) would cost me about $560. The difference being the guy selling them is about 20 miles from me if anything was to go wrong.
