LeeMar Aquariums

yes they do....its going to be a rimless tank, 40x36x20 external center overflow that 20" long and has 2 1.5 in drains.will also have two 1" returns outside of the overflow box so i can push some nice flow thru them without resistance

i will be using my 2 mp40s for internal flow and might add a mp20 for extra motion if needed. i dont need a monster pump for the return but am thinking if i ever need it then the tank can handle it, rather do it now than later

Honestly, the amount of space the internal horizontal overflow takes up is so minimal, I wouldn't stress it. Unless you have a reason other than aesthetics for needing an external overflow, I wouldn't bother.
