There is a bunch of worms in the sand

Save a couple tablespoons of sand if you want. I'm pretty sure most of those rocks and definitely the ones that are sitting in the sand bed will have most of the same life. I have never saved any sand and mine has always repopulated with worms etc in a short amount of time.
