Left over saltwater in mixing station

Can I ask what is aquaforest stance on leftover saltwater left in the mixing station?

Do I have to completely empty the saltwater container or can I just refill the mixing station with RODI water therefore diluting the mixture until the next time I need to mix a new batch?

If I need to empty it, is it all, I may have about 1 gallon left is this ok or must all be removed?

Which salt are you using?
How often are you filling your container?

Since this is a new tank build I am starting with your reef salt and then gong to switch over to probiotic when completed. The tank is cycling as I type.

I can fill it it immediately back with new batch of RODI water.

I try to only mix enough for what I need but always have some left over.

Based on following the directions I would be doing 10-15% water change once a week, unless it ok to do AWC which then I would mix salt every 3 days in the container.

Better salt for this it will be reef salt and yes you can make it with Reef Salt. Probiotic Reef salt contains bacteria, culture medium for bacteria growth, amino acids, vitamins that's why is not reccomended to store this salt longer than 48h.

So do not switch then to probiotic salt then and just stay with reef salt?

If I switch to probiotic and go for automatic water changes try to have enough made for a two day supply?

What happens if the probiotic is used after 2 days?

I am concerned of the left over in the salt mixing station, as it will never be fully emptied just constantly refreshed.

Bacterias will start to work in this water that's why water could be cloud because of bacteria growth and maturing.

For automatic water changes we recommend to use Reef Salt.
