Left my RODI system on for 24 hours. Think these filters are exhausted?

They were all pretty new but I was just getting to the point where the DI resin on the left was brown. Now both are brown.

What is your tds meter telling you?

Every time I make water for a change mine are running for about 8 hours, plus another 3 or so hours per week for topoff water. My filters last at least 6 months or more, but my source water is pretty low in TDS to start with. RO cartridges last up to a couple years. I flush them after every use.

I would replace the resin if mine looked like that. Lots cheaper and easier doing that versus dealing with issues in the tank.
this... especially if your municipal water has chloramines in it. I nuked a tank with ammonia from exhausted DI media once.

Thanks for the replies. My TDS meter always says error. I need to pick one up

Not a fan of color changing resin. I’ve had what looked like “exhausted” resin still produce 0 TDS water for well over a month. I don’t even buy color changing resin anymore. I rely on my TDS meters to determine resin exhaustion.
