Should I get a fx4 filter for my 200 gallon Or a Xf250 gyre to clean leftover food in my tank?

Man, I love my Gyre. I have a fx250 in a 4' 120 gallon. I can't turn up beyond 30-40% it moves massive amount of water. The ICV6 is complete garbage btw. The advanced Controller does it's job very well but if you're wanting to use your phone the ICV6 is just straight garbage.

300 series is about to be released.

Do you have a sump? HOB filter? What mechanical filtration do you use?

I have a 50 gallon sump with live rock, marine pure, skimmer and uv sterilizer. I was using a filter sock but it kept clogging up now im planning an using a canister filter to remove left over food

If you're having that much of an issue with leftover food, feed less and/or slower to give your fish a chance to clean it up. Otherwise you'll likely have problems down the road, and even the best filters and wavemakers arent going to help.

It's the white skin of oysters and clams that float around. Pellets and frozen are devoured
